Can't stand still
I could not survive a 45 minute train ride. I thought I could, but just when I was one stop away, I could feel it - vision blacking out and everything around sounding very faraway. I just had to alight and sit down for a while. So once again I didn't get to find out whether people would be willing to give up their seats if I asked.
But really, I think it's easier to alight and find a seat on the platform myself rather than asking and waiting for people to give up their seats! Or perhaps, I just refuse to admit that I'm weak. I'd like to think it's just that I can't stand still for long. After that, I even thought I could manage a run as planned. But I finally decided - I shall not risk my own life!
